my commute and the Maker Faire
I often drive to or from work and think what a beautiful commute it is. I can see the ocean, the bay, and Chrystal Lake as well as many undeveloped hills. Today on our way to the Maker Faire I tried to take photos of the commute, since I wasn't driving.
We did enjoy seeing the robot fight competition. I had never seen that before. We saw one robot with a flame thrower that burned out it's opponent and a bunch with wedges but one that could flip itself and over. In the MicroSoft pavilion R. made an application (in about 10 minutes) and got a free thumb drive. We saw a demo of something where a camera recorded depth and color of objects on a table and incorporated it in a game with 3d cars.
